ghoak is Carlos Nascimento. the now-20-year-old had his first album, Some are Weird, released by This.Co in 2003, having had some of his tracks previously featured in 2 compilations from the same label, with the support of fonoteca municipal and câmara de lisboa and with the big support of alquimia disc store. After Some are Weird, he will also have his tracks featured in a sample cd from This.Co, "thiscotronica". In 2001 he also participated in the compilation "dreamers of dreams" by the net label enoughrecords.com.

ghoak presented his work with live acts on 1st march 2003 at Alcobaça Library Auditorium, 20th september 2003 in "Arts", Leiria; on 16th january 2004 in "A Bicaense", Lisboa and also in "Casa dos Dias d’Água" on 17th June.

Carlos later formed the collective Stares along with Bruno Silva and Tiago Veloso. This collective spawned a parallel project named Panda Suicide wich performed live 3 times in Leiria.
